This will depend on what theme you use, but if your theme allows it you can set the background color and therefore the color of your serperator.

Use site logo as a site icon
Set the site logo as a site icon by switching the setting in the side panel.

Turn on tools for colors
Depending on your theme colors on tools might be turned off. You can easily turn on for example link colors using the options setting and turning on anything you find under ‘tools’.

Press + to see options
Don’t see the options you want in the site editor, for example padding or margin? You can find out what other options there are using the ‘+’ icon. Click and for example you can add padding and margin.

Advanced details on template area
Template areas can have more details added in the site editor, for example a CSS class, HTML element or even the title.

Click template areas in sidebar
When viewing a template you can click the template areas in the sidebar and go to them in the editor. For example, click header or general on a blog home template using Twenty Twenty-Four.

Contain text cursor inside block
Turn on in preferences the option to contain text cursor inside block which is useful to aid screen cursors. What it does is prevent text caret from leaving blocks.

Open list view by default
Preferences have a number of settings you can turn on, one of these is ‘list view by default’. This allows you to see the block list sidebar from the start which is useful if using this to navigate around your site.

Highlight text
Select text and then use the highlight tool to highlight just some text. You can select a text or background color.

Reset template
Quickly reset a template using the search term ‘reset template’. Go to ‘templates’ and search ‘reset’.
